I wish every day were like Friday!

Hello all: It's an absolutely gorgeous day outside here in Seattle and I'm still working! Maybe that's to my benefit. For some odd reason, I'm often busiest on Friday. Maybe it's mental but I've often taken more applications, etc. on Friday than any other day of the week.

It's funny how everyone in my office clears out early on Friday. Sometimes I try and leave by 4 but usually it's after 5. I have a feeling it's a mental thing. Or maybe I love my job more than most. Whatever it is, I'm going to keep working hard on Friday as the results are so strong. I'm curious what you find. I can tell you this; there is always something to do when I think about it. That keeps me going. May you all have a great weekend! Talk to you soon!

Hi Paul, I pulled away from the office at 5:30...took 3 apps today...you're right, it's mental and the sunny weather sure has helped with that.  Played golf yesterday too, played crappy (only 3 f-bombs though) but it was good company and great laughs!  Have a super weekend!

Paul, It's certainly your attitude and your expectations. You probably go into Fridays knowing you are going to be busy and because of that you are. The other folks are looking for ways to get out of the office early.

In another life I was a waiter. I worked in a very high end restaurant for 10 years. I was always the first one in and the last one out. It was a great job and I just never wanted to leave. This was almost 25 years ago and when most folks were struggling to make $50 a night I rarely made less than $100 and frequently made $200+!! It was all about my attitude and willingness to work those extra couple of hours every day.

It's always the little bit extra that separates winners from the ordinary.

Thanks, Bryant. Although I occasionallly cut out early on Friday, there have been many days where I'm there after 5. Most of my co-workers cut out about 2 after a 3-4 hour day. Have a great day!
